Västgöta Nation has 43 units in two of the buildings on the yard. Here you'll find corridor rooms, “dubletter” and apartments.
Stiftelsen Västgötagården
Stiftelsen Västgötagården has stood as a three-story building along Slottsgränd since 1948. The building was designed by architect Ivar Tengbom and still features many original details from the 1940s. It has 35 corridor rooms as well as a two-room apartment with a kitchen.
The ground floor, “Ettan,” has 11 rooms with a hallway and a bathroom. In the corridor, there is a shared kitchen and a dining room with windows facing the courtyard.
One flight of stairs up is “Tvåan,” which has 13 rooms with a hallway and bathroom, as well as a “dubblett” that is rented out as one room. In the corridor, there is a shared kitchen and a dining room with windows facing the courtyard.
At the top of the building is “Trean,” which has 10 rooms, a hallway, and a bathroom. In the corridor, there are two shared kitchens and a larger common area with doors leading out to the balcony facing the courtyard. Trean also has a guest room that can be booked by residents.
All residents have access to a laundry room in the basement.
Ambrosia
Ambrosia shares its colors with the nation building and is located at the corner where Slottsgränd meets Västra Ågatan.
On the ground floor are the curators’ offices, as well as a “dubblett” with a shared kitchen and bathroom equipped with a washing machine.
On the upper floor, there is a corridor with 5 rooms, with a shared kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room.
